Dead Journal

This is my last post.  I have considered deleting my account, but I like to read my friends' page and probably will continue to do so.  However, I am sick and tired of all the lj bs--the flame wars, the competition for comments, the weirdness.  Plus most of the stuff I post is risky to post and it's probably better to be more discreet.  And it is also the case that the people I know are posting much less than they used to.  Probably y'all have moved on to Facebook or Twitter, which I refuse to do.  So I guess I will consider this my brief moment of historical synergy in which I actually liked the mode of communication people were using, be happy that it happened, and go back into my little hole where I belong.  It's been fun.
